TOYBOX UWSA Training Day

Recently, the TOYBOX team visited the UWSA Daycare for a TOYBOX Training Day with Early Childhood Educators (ECE)! Here, we introduced the TOYBOX project, discussed child development, and had the opportunity to try out some TOYBOX activities.

Collaboration with community members is such an important part of the project, and this was demonstrated during our time at the UWSA Daycare. It was wonderful to be able to listen to and share individual experiences of facilitating learning with children.

At the end of the day, each ECE in attendance went home with a deck of TOYBOX playing cards and one of our animal activity packages. Our friend Nume even made a special appearance! We would like to extend a heartfelt thank you to the UWSA Daycare for welcoming us into their centre for the day.
