Toybox in Community Building Day!

On September 20, Toybox made a wonderful connection with University of Winnipeg students during Community Building Day!

Our table was set up to welcome students, and our friendly teddy bear greeted everyone with a big smile while introducing what Toybox is all about. We handed out our dice activity, along with colouring pages featuring Litty, Nume, and Welly.

The star of the day was our special dice—a large die with a mini die inside! We shared how this “double dice” can make learning fun for children.

Students came up with all kinds of creative ideas, from simply rolling to compare who got the bigger number, to inventing new board games. We reminded everyone that there’s no single “right” way to play—it’s all about having fun with numbers!

Parents, caregivers, and students who have little ones were excited to take home a Toybox dice package to try with their children! Toybox (and our teddy bear) were delighted to see so many beautiful smiles throughout the day!
