Units of Measurement are a definite amount or size used to measure something, like centimetres, inches, cups and kilometres. We can also create our own units of measurement with any object that we have available like string, hands or a water bottle.
Metric Measurements include millimetres, centimetres, metres, kilometres, and grams, and is the official measurement system used in Canada.
Some Imperial Measurements are used in specific circumstances, including inches, feet, yards, ounces, and pounds.
