Meet the Graphics Team

I'm Brian and I am a member of the original graphics team formed in 2019. I joined the project as a high school intern, and have now been contributing to ToyBox ever since. Alongside my peers, we have created Litty, Welly, and Nume, as well as the images of all of their learning adventures!

I’m Herlinda, an original Lead illustrator and Graphics Team facilitator at ToyBox who's all about creating to support others. I joined the team in 2019 as a student at the Maples Met School, helping to create the ToyBox mascots and core visuals. Now, I’m working alongside a talented graphics team, community members, and professionals in bringing to life the world of ToyBox to children and families!

I am a mathematics educator with research interests in children’s numeracy learning, (math) teacher education, and mentoring my main involvement with ToyBox is graphics.

Em is a student of the Seven Oaks Met school. They have enjoyed the arts in various forms for most of their life and continue to do so now. They joined ToyBox in 2022 as an intern and became a mentor in 2023. They have helped students illustrate a book (learning with water) while also contributing for the cover and one of the pages.

I joined ToyBox in 9th grade and I joined to learn more about digital art and because I love creating art. I have created a hand washing sign, tangram puzzles, and worked with the Climate Action group.

My name is Sarah I enjoy art as it’s a hobby of mine and perhaps something more . I joined toy box from 2023 - 2024, because the idea of drawing things to help teach people was definitely something I’m interested in. I have worked on books and book marks and when in toy box I’ve learned a lot especially about digital art and how simple drawings can make such a big impact

I'm someone who loves art, and being able to have my art be published and official makes it a lot more exciting. I joined ToyBox to further my understanding of art and I joined in 2024. So far I have helped illustrate a book about learning with water, I am very proud of the work I have done. This project has helped me communicate with others to make the art similar but still unique to the artist.

My name is Aubrey and I am a grade 10 student from the Maples Met School. I have been working with Toybox for 2 years currently and am about to move on to my 3rd. I am very honoured to see this project evolve so quickly in the short time I have been here. I am all about anything remotely related to the arts, which is why I became a mentor for all of the incoming students to share my knowledge and expertise for the younger generations.
