Multiplication as Repeated Addition

Multiplication can be described as repeated addition because it involves grouping one number multiple times. â€‹Have fun grouping food items, toys, and other objects to show the relationship between addition and multiplication!

For example, 3 groups of 4 balloons makes a total of 12 balloons.

This can be represented by the number sentences 4+4+4 and 3×4.
