Look at (family) photos and talk about who/what/where/when/why.
Tip: Talk about birthdays, holidays, and favourite memories.

Ask open-ended questions (that do not require yes and no responses) to jump start memories.
Tip: Ask: “What happened next?” “What did you do?” “What animal did we see?”

Have your child write a story about a photo.
Tip: Try making a scrapbook with your child’s story.
